[The Phantom Of The Opera 歌劇魅影]
第二幕第七景 曲目---The Point Of No Return---


除了" The Music Of The Night "之外,
就是這首" The Point Of No Return "最催淚了!
記得去年在兩廳院看歌劇魅影時
劇情進行到這裡時, 我已經飆淚了!

這首是魅影強迫克莉絲汀演出他所作的歌劇" 唐璜 "之後,
殺了男主角自己登台和克莉絲汀對唱的歌曲,
目的在測試克莉絲汀對他的心意.

曲名The Point Of No Return的意思有臨界點,極限的意思,
我比較喜歡" 踏上不歸路 "這個翻譯.
魅影藉這首歌表明自己的立場,他已經沒有回頭路了,
他教導克莉絲汀歌唱,
以他的方式 暗中協助克莉絲汀成為劇院的第一女高音,
他給予愛情,信任和希望(反過來這也是他想得到的),

魅影偏激的愛情驅使他寫下這齣歌劇!
走到這一步,心愛的克莉絲汀卻偷偷和子爵訂婚了,
他必須要求克莉絲汀做出抉擇, 克莉絲汀也沒有回頭路了!

一開始魅影低聲唱出 "妳已經到達妳渴望的境界, 我已經帶給你一切,
我們的激情會融化結合,在你心中,你早已臣服於我,
拋開所有的防備,徹底的臣服於我,
現在的你和我在一起,沒有二心,
你已選擇,已決定",

聽起來像是要對克莉絲汀催眠一般,
雖然聽起來是魅影自欺欺人,
因為克莉絲汀早已經琵琶別抱了!
但是魅影仍然抱著最後一絲的希望,
即使這一丁點的希望微弱有如風中之燭,
但魅影仍努力向克莉絲汀勸說著.

他沒有之前的霸氣和狂傲了,
雖然歌詞里充滿絕對,但是從魅影口中唱出來,
可以聽出他的懇求和不安.

最後魅影唱出" All I Ask Of You ",
這首是克莉絲汀和子爵在屋頂互訴情衷唱的歌,
由魅影唱出, 盡是哀戚痛苦.......

年初在兩廳院看歌劇魅影的時候，

也是哭得一把鼻涕一把眼淚的，

演phantom的Brad Little挺棒的，聲音渾厚唱得很有味道，

不管是趴在地上匍匐前進還是整場跑，

音色還是完美到一個境界，

果然是演phantom的老手。

所有的曲目裡

我最喜歡的還是"The music of the night"

這是phantom最深情溫柔的演譯.......

聽著...聽著....

就好像被phantom擁抱著一樣（好像蠻變態的）

Anyway

我就是偏愛悲劇人物啦~~~~~

當然我心中永遠的phantom.....

還是老牌的Michael Crawford，

我想是先入為主的觀念吧!

Brad Little表現得再好，

我的心裡還是只容得下麥可叔和莎拉嬸的完美組合，

但是兩位已經不演此劇~~此景只能成追憶了~
